We wanted to testify to the outstanding workmanship and quality construction on our new home in Fort Valley, Virginia. From the contract bid process through the end of construction, Donnie and his team were always professional and always worked with us to ensure we were happy with the details on our house.

At the beginning of the contract process, we talked to several builders and ultimately selected Hoffman Construction because of the detailed estimate and contract they provided. Because of their costing approach, we were confident they understood the items going into the house and they allowed us the flexibility to use subcontractors in specific areas important to our unique design. They worked with us and in particular, one subcontractor, to correct problems from the subcontractor cabinet installation. In this and many other instances, Travis, Ronnie, and others in the Hoffman family went above-and-beyond to ensure we had the best quality product!

Throughout the construction, we communicated frequently, working through changes or talking through questions to ensure we both understood ramifications of a decision. For our house, we had complicated kitchen ceiling angles and a pizza oven built into the wall. All this required detailed attention that goes beyond most construction projects. This was particularly important since we lived 85 miles away and could only come out on weekends or taking days off from work. Donnie and Jackie were always patient and understanding of our work conditions.

We would happily recommend Hoffman Construction to anyone considering home construction or remodeling! They are more than just a company - they truly care about you as a person and have impeccable work ethics. Given this was our life savings for our dream retirement home, you couldn't trust anyone more than Donnie and his family business.
